PhD Student of TNMU Represented the University at the Annual ESVS Conference in Istanbul
Serhii Karpeniuk, a PhD student of L. Kovalchuk Surgery No.1 with Urology and Minimally Invasive Surgery Department, participated in the 39th Annual Meeting of the European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVS), which took place on September 23–26, 2025, in Istanbul.

He delivered a plenary presentation titled “TIME-Concept in Action: the Nature of the Wound Bed at the Stages of Leg Ulcer Treatment.” The co-authors of the study are Anatolii Bedeniuk, Petro Bodnar, and Tetiana Bodnar.

The plenary session was chaired by distinguished international experts:
- Professor Stavros Kakkos (Greece) – Head of the Department of Vascular Surgery at the University of Patras, current President of the European Venous Forum, and among the top 2% of scientists worldwide;
- Professor A. Kursat Bozkurt (Turkey) – current President of the European College of Phlebology.

Following his presentation, Serhii Karpeniuk received words of appreciation from colleagues for his engaging and meaningful report.
The TNMU PhD student also actively participated in section meetings dedicated to chronic limb-threatening ischemia, venous pathology, and diabetic foot, and attended the technological exhibition held during the conference.
