Student Selection for Participation in the Erasmus+ International Program Held at the TNMU Institute of Nursing
The Educational and Scientific Institute of Nursing at TNMU conducted a selection process for students to participate in an international blended intensive educational program within the Erasmus+ project.
This innovative program combines online learning with an in-person exchange, bringing together students from various European countries around current issues in public health. Participants will have the opportunity to study in an international environment, exchange professional experiences, and deepen their understanding of modern approaches to promoting and protecting population health.

The course “Public Health for Midwifery Students” is implemented in partnership with leading European institutions, including AVAG Midwifery Academy Amsterdam Groningen (Netherlands), Tallinn Health Care College (Estonia), Turku University of Applied Sciences (Finland), Thomas More University of Applied Sciences (Belgium), and the University of Applied Sciences Campus Vienna (Austria), which coordinates the program.
The online part of the course will begin on March 2, 2026, on the Moodle platform, while the in-person stage will take place from April 13 to 17, 2026, in Vienna (Austria). During the International Exchange Week, students will work in teams on topics related to promoting a healthy lifestyle, empowering women, ensuring psychological well-being, and supporting vulnerable population groups.

The selection of participants at TNMU was held on a competitive basis among students of the Institute of Nursing. Candidates underwent an English interview, during which their motivation, communication skills, understanding of the program’s goals, and interest in international cooperation were evaluated. Based on the interview results, students were chosen to represent TNMU at the European educational level.
The program will provide an excellent opportunity for students of the Institute of Nursing to gain new experience, expand their professional horizons, and join a community of future healthcare leaders.
