“My World” NGO and the TNMU Mental Health Center Brought Joy to Children for the Holiday

For St. Nicholas Day, the public organization “My World,” together with the Mental Health Center of Ternopil National Medical University, organized a festive event for adults and children with Down syndrome who are supported by the organization and its partners. The event was held with the support of the university, Vice-Rector for Science, Education and Clinical Affairs Professor Stepan Zaporozhan, and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Head of the Trade Union Committee Professor Petro Lykhatskyi.

During the celebration, the children prepared and presented a festive performance, shared their talents and emotions, and at the end received gifts from the organizers and partners. This joint initiative was a significant gesture of care and support for adults and children who require special attention, marking another step toward fostering an inclusive and compassionate environment within the university community.

Ternopil National Medical University will continue to support similar initiatives aimed at promoting mental health, inclusion, and social support for children and their families.
