Integrity Week at TNMU Comes to an End

As part of Integrity Week, which took place from December 1 to 9, the Working Group on the Development of Academic Integrity and Anti-Corruption at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, under the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, organized a series of activities. These activities were aligned with the pilot project “Anti-Corruption and Integrity: Transforming the Higher Education Environment,” implemented by the Integrity Office of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) in partnership with the NGO “Anti-Corruption Headquarters,” with the support of UNDP Ukraine and funding from the Government of Denmark.

In particular, within the framework of the online school “Integrity Up!”, meetings were held with students, academic staff, and employees of TNMU. The discussions covered topics such as integrity and culture, trust in the educational process, academic misconduct and the sociology of corruption, the ethical use of artificial intelligence in education and research, and the dimensions of integrity in life and career development.

As part of Integrity Week, TNMU students also organized a flash mob entitled “My Integrity-Driven University.”

Additionally, the Head of the Center for Academic Integrity, Associate Professor Iryna Stechyshyn, organized a number of meetings in collaboration with the guarantors of educational programs.
