Winners Announced for the Internship Competition at the Medical University of Bialystok (Republic of Poland)
On March 4, 2026, the Student Internship Department of the I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University held a competitive selection among 4th–5th-year medical faculty students for participation in a summer internship at the Medical University of Bialystok (Republic of Poland).
Four medical students participated in the competition: Andriy Khomyn, Yaryna Turchyn, Sofiya Berehulyak, and Olena Antonyuk.
The selection committee included:
- Professor Arkadiy Shulhai, Vice-Rector for Science and Education
- Associate Professor Maksym Herasymiuk, Head of the Student Internship Department
- Associate Professor Svitlana Kucher, Acting Dean of the Medical Faculty
- Sviatoslav Kundeus, Senior Specialist of the International Relations Department
- Associate Professor Natalia Yelahina, Department of Foreign Languages
- Oleksandr Mihenko, Chair of the Student Parliament
- Ivan Bevzyuk, 6th-year medical student
- N. Bobko, 3rd-year medical student
The committee carefully reviewed the submitted resumes and documents confirming the achievements of each candidate. Additionally, interviews were conducted to assess each applicant’s professional motivation.
Based on the results of the selection process, the winners were announced:
- 1st place – Yaryna Turchyn
- 2nd place – Andriy Khomyn
