On the Path to Medical Mastery: Shaping the Sixth-Year Trajectory

On March 18, 2026, a meeting was held between fifth-year students of the Faculty of Medicine (specialty “Medicine”) at Ternopil National Medical University and representatives of профиль departments, dedicated to choosing a field of study for the sixth year.

During the event, department heads and lecturers presented the features of educational programs, the structure of training, the clinical bases, and the specifics of practical preparation in the fields of “General Practice – Family Medicine,” “Internal Medicine,” “Obstetrics and Gynecology,” and “Surgery.” Special attention was paid to the development of professional competencies, internship training, and opportunities for further professional growth.

As a result of the event, students received comprehensive information necessary to make an informed choice about their individual educational trajectory in the sixth year.
