Teachers and Students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Pharmacy Promote the TNMU Brand
On March 16, 2026, Olena Pokotylo and Liudmyla Mosula (Associate Professors of the Departments of Management and Economics of Pharmacy with Drug Technology, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry), together with fourth-year students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Pharmacy Dariia Martyshchenko and Solomiia Mlynar, conducted an educational and career-guidance event titled “Pharma PRO: Discovering the World of Chemistry and Pharmacy” for 11th-grade students of N. Yaremchuk Ternopil School-Lyceum No. 6. The event was held as part of the project “Pharma PRO: Feel Yourself a TNMU Student,” launched in cooperation with the pharmaceutical corporation ARTERIUM.
Associate Professor Liudmyla Mosula conducted a series of qualitative reactions for cations and anions, emphasizing the importance of chemistry in everyday life and the applied significance of chemical compounds in medicine and pharmacy. Associate Professor Olena Pokotylo presented an accessible and motivating talk to graduates about the prestige of the pharmaceutical profession, highlighting its social importance and strong demand in the labor market. She also drew attention to the diverse career opportunities available to pharmaceutical professionals—from managing pharmacies and working in pharmaceutical companies and manufacturing to engaging in scientific research.
In addition, Olena Pokotylo informed students about the wide range of opportunities available to TNMU pharmacy students, including participation in educational and scientific grant programs offered by various stakeholders (Acino Ukraine, Arterium, Farmak, Podorozhnyk, ANC). These programs provide significant financial support during studies, promote comprehensive development, and help build a strong personal portfolio, making graduates competitive in the job market.
Particular interest among school students was sparked by information about modern approaches to education, the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical skills, and student participation in real professional projects. Olena Pokotylo also подробно explained the specifics of the admission campaign for specialty I8 “Pharmacy,” study conditions, opportunities for practical training, and international academic mobility offered by TNMU.
Fourth-year pharmacy students invited to the event assisted in conducting chemical reactions and shared their impressions and study experiences with the school graduates.
At the end of the event, TNMU representatives invited students to attend the Open Day, which will take place on March 28, 2026, at 12:00 PM in the assembly hall of TNMU’s administrative building.
