TNMU Signs Cooperation Agreement with Chemeryvtsi Medical College

On April 2, 2026, the Director of Chemeryvtsi Medical College, Petro Sherstiuk, together with the Head of the “General Medicine” Department, Aliona Dypulets, met with the Rector of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, Professor Petro Lykhatskyi, to discuss areas of collaboration.

The meeting was also attended by the Vice-Rector for Research, Professor Oleksandra Oleshchuk, Deputy Director of the Educational-Scientific Institute of Nursing for Research and Pedagogical Work, Associate Professor Liudmyla Mazur, and the Dean of the Faculty of International Students, Professor Maria Marushchak.

Petro Sherstiuk expressed the desire to involve medical college students in student research at TNMU, organize online lectures delivered by TNMU faculty, and establish closer cooperation in educational and research activities.

In turn, Petro Lykhatskyi proposed deeper integration into research by involving college students in TNMU’s student scientific clubs. He also emphasized the introduction of a digital education platform between the two institutions, consisting of a series of online lectures by leading TNMU professors for college students. Additionally, Petro Lykhatskyi highlighted the importance of scientific and research development through enhanced collaboration in joint projects.

The signing of the cooperation agreement opens new opportunities for the professional growth of future medical specialists and will contribute to improving the overall quality of medical education.
