Meeting of the TNMU Integrity Team with the Integrity Office of NACP and the NGO “Anti-Corruption Headquarters”

On April 8, 2026, a regular online working meeting took place between the TNMU integrity team, which includes Hryhorii Zahrychuk – Rector’s Representative for Quality, Head of the Department of General Chemistry; Iryna Molen – Acting Authorized Person for Anti-Corruption Activities; Oksana Sydorenko – Associate Professor of the Department of Emergency Medicine; Oleksandr Mihenko – Head of the Student Parliament; Sofia Berehuliak – Deputy Head of the Student Parliament; Viktoriia Miroshnyk – Head of the Student Scientific Society, and the team of the Integrity Office of the NACP and the NGO “Anti-Corruption Headquarters”.

The meeting was held within the framework of the pilot project “Anti-Corruption and Integrity: Transformation of the Higher Education Environment”, implemented by the NACP Integrity Office jointly with the NGO “Anti-Corruption Headquarters”, with the support of UNDP Ukraine and funding from the Government of Denmark.

During the meeting, participants discussed the results of the analysis of compliance with legislative requirements and the methodological recommendations for applying tools and mechanisms to transform various areas of higher education institutions’ functioning, grounded in transparency and integrity. In particular, the following areas of TNMU’s activity were reviewed: anti-corruption education, procurement, communication, and transparency.

Representatives of the NGO “Anti-Corruption Headquarters” highlighted TNMU’s strengths, including: a well-established regulatory framework for the integrity system, informative content of the Academic Integrity Center’s website, continuous training and professional development of academic staff on ethics and academic integrity, integration of integrity topics into the educational process, a significant number of events for higher education students on academic integrity, openness and transparency in financial decision-making and public procurement, clear communication on anti-corruption issues, and transparency of TNMU’s anti-corruption activities.

TNMU continues its cooperation with the NACP Integrity Office team and the NGO “Anti-Corruption Headquarters” within the pilot project and sincerely appreciates their support in improving and strengthening anti-corruption infrastructure, developing a culture of integrity, and creating an ethical and transparent educational environment.
