A Creative Gift from the International Students of TSMU
Last week the students of I.Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical University, who came from other countries to study in Ternopil, arranged a concert to celebrate the International Student’s Day. At the beginning of the event, everyone commemorated the alumnus of the International Students’ Faculty who recently tragically died.
Then the Dean of the Faculty Associate Professor Petro Selskyi wished the international students all the best and successful studying. The Dean’s Office prepared a surprise for their students: the best students, who demonstrated high academic achievements, were awarded with certificates.
There were also some interesting surprises by the international students. For example, Aster Ndjeng Ntine (Cameroon) recited a piece of verse in French of “Zapovit (Testament)” by Taras Shevchenko. This young man represents the interests of international students in the Student Counsil of TSMU. He also always participates in all events of our university and city.
The organizing committee is grateful to the student from Iraq Mohammed Al-Zubaidi Zahid Mutashar who successfully discharged his mandate as a sound engineer. Ahsan Ali Syed, Dzheriyat Kusi Boateng, Yasser Al-Jumaili Dheyab and Catherine Galey were the presenters of the concert.
Creative spots were prepared by the students from India, Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon and Iraq. It was so nice that Ukrainian rising doctors also visited the event.
