Acknowledgements to International Students of TNMU for Various Achievements
I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University has created all the conditions for learning and self-realization of students. Anyone can join a program or project of their choice, in particular the mentoring program, volunteer movement, creative teams. For excellent training, active participation in the TNMU activities, young people receive acknowledgements and certificates, which later become a kind of self-presentation for them after graduation. International students of our university are an integral part of the student community and university life. A number of stimulating mechanisms have been developed to inspire their activity. Let’s find out the certificates students receive for their activities and persistent training.
The Proactive Attitude Certificate is for the initiators of various actions, projects, ideas.
The Outstanding Leadership Certificate is presented to young people who have long been brilliant leaders in their student environment, uniting like-minded people and being able to direct them to teamwork in order to fulfil a certain idea. It is also for heads of the associations of their countries who showed excellent results in this work.
The Volunteer Work Certificate meets the international standard and indicates the type of volunteering and how many hours a student spent for such work. Today, volunteering is widely supported in all countries of the world; there are many international volunteer projects and a number of declarations on volunteering. Volunteering as a socio-cultural phenomenon is inextricably related to development of civilization. Volunteers from many countries of the world unite in the global world volunteer movement. In developed countries, in order to stimulate the development of volunteering, there are various programs that give volunteers certain social benefits. Therefore, contracts and certificates always contain a description of volunteer assistance and the period of its implementation.
The Achievement Certificate recognizes those young people who participated in many projects and events of the university, joined the team work.
The “Students of the year – best student” Certificate is awarded to those students who have the best results in all indicators. This includes civic engagement, volunteering, training and leadership.
The Academic Excellence Certificate is issued to those international students of TNMU who have the highest average score for their studies during the year.
Due to quarantine restrictions, this year’s certificates in the above categories were awarded after the end of the academic year.
