Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Ukraine visited TNMU

On January 20, 2022, Dr. Noel I. Khokhar, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Ukraine, visited I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University.

During his stay at TNMU, the distinguished guest met with Professor Mykhaylo Korda, the Rector of TNMU, Professor Arkadii Shulhai, Vice-Rector for Science and Education, Professor Stepan Zaporozhan, Vice-Rector for Science, Education and Clinical Affairs, Natalia Lisnychuk, Deputy Rector for International Relations, Professor Petro Selskyi, the Dean of the International Students Faculty, and the students from Pakistan studying at the Ternopil Medical University. Expanding of cooperation in medical education and science was discussed.

Dr. Noel I. Khokhar, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Ukraine, studied the affairs of Ternopil National Medical University, its achievements and learning process. Mykhaylo Korda, the Rector of the University, told him in detail about it focusing on international projects, international affairs in education and research.

The ambassador noted that he was impressed by a high level of educational services at TNMU, the opportunities for postgraduate advancement and the large number of international partners.

Dr. Noel I. Khokhar also inspected the facilities and resources of the administrative building, the Academic and Research Institute of Morphology and the Centre for Medical Simulation. The Ambassador also studied the Laboratory of Cell Cultures, Experimental and Clinical Research, the Department of Independent Students Testing and other structural units of the university.
