Artworks and Handicrafts of TNMU Students were Sent to a Charity Auction in Slovakia

Today, when the whole of Ukraine admires the military feats of our soldiers and the resilience of Ukrainians, the students of the Ternopil National Medical University are trying in every way to bring victory closer, “fighting” on their fronts.

In order to raise funds for those who keep the defence on the front lines, on the initiative of the Associate Professor of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology Olena Pokryshko and with the support of a student of the Faculty of Medicine (MM-316) Daryna Yuziuk, a collection of works of art was gathered, the authors of which are students of TNMU Rida Saher, Tanmay Khandale, Liubomyr Zaremba, as well as other young artists.

With the assistance of the employees of the Ternopil Regional Art Museum, an evaluation examination of the submitted works was performed and the best works (5 paintings and 9 drawings) were selected. In the future, they will be presented at a charity auction in Slovakia. Also, for the Victory Parcel, TNMU students handed over their handiworks – 5 t-shirts with original drawings and 22 New Year’s balls made of wool. Future doctors created handmade products during a series of workshops. T-shirts for the “Victory Parcel” were selected and handed over to the auction organizers by Ilona Novakivska and Umer Salam Dar.

All funds received from the sale of paintings and works of art will be transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Let us remember that everyone can help bring our victory closer. It is important to remember that together we make a real force!
