During the Meeting of the University Administration the Best TSMU Students of 2015 Were Awarded

The scheduled meeting of I.Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical University administration was held on December 17. It was chaired by the Rector of TSMU, Professor Mykhailo Korda.

First, the head of the university congratulated the students with the prize of the best TSMU students of 2015 in studying, sports, and cultural social and volunteer work and awarded citation certificates to them.

 So, Zoriana Vivchar was excellent in studying, Mykhailo Denysiuk showed active citizenship (Member of the “White Berets”), and Tatiana Ivanitska was the best in cultural and artistic work. Iryna Skrynka was awarded a bonus by the TSMU administration for significant achievements in sports. She was the first in the national championship in powerlifting. Yana-Maria Yashchyshyn received a reward for volunteering. This student organized volunteering projects at the university and demonstrated leadership skills. Victor Mischanchuk received the Ivan Horbachevsky Award for the best scientist of the university.

The Chairman of the department review panel Professor Larysa Fedoniuk reported on the inspection at the Department of Dentistry of the Academic and Research Institute of Postgraduate Education.

The director of the Academic and Research Institute of Postgraduate Education Associate Professor Roman Svystun, the Vice-Rector for Science and Education Arkadii Shulhai, the Head of the Department of Dentistry of the Academic and Research Institute of Postgraduate Education Professor Stepan Cherkashyn were involved into the discussion.

The Chairman of the departments review panel Professor Olha Denefil reported on the supplies and organization of educational process at the departments of the Faculty of Dentistry.

The Vice-Rector for Science, Education and Clinical Affairs Professor Stepan Zaporozhan, the Vice-Rector for Science and Education Arkadii Shulhai, the Head of the Department of Dental Surgery Professor Yaroslav Nahirnyi, the First Vice-Rector for Science and Education Professor Oleksandr Kovalchuk, the Head of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry Professor Oleksandr Avdieiev were involved into the discussion.

The chairman of the laboratory review panel Associate Professor Maria Marushchak reported on the work of the university certified research laboratories.

The First Vice-Rector for Science and Education Professor Oleksandr Kovalchuk, the Vice-Rector for Science and Education Arkadii Shulhai, the Vice-Rector for Science, Education and Clinical Affairs Professor Stepan Zaporozhan were involved into the discussion.
