TSMU dentistry scholar of took part in the work of International Medical Congress for Students and Young Doctors MedEspera 2018 in Chișinău, Moldova
Ternopil State Medical University researchers attended the 5th International Medical Congress for Students and Young Doctors MedEspera 2018 which took place on May 3-5. Head of the Department of Orthopedic Dentistry, Professor Petro Hasiuk, and the postgraduate student of the Department of Dentistry Volodymyr Radchuk visited Nicolae Testemiţanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Chișinău, Moldova.
The visit began with an official meeting of the delegation with the dean and heads of main departments of the university.
At the plenary session of the conference, Professor Hasyuk presented his work Features of the Application of Virtual Computer Programming in the Clinic of Orthopedic Dentistry, in which he pointed to the need to integrate virtual computerized systems into the educational process when studying dentistry disciplines.
Dr. Radchuk presented his research on the Impact of Various Types of Odontopreparation on the Morphological Organization of Dental Tissues in the Orthopedic and Treatment Dentistry section of the conference. He described causative relationship between different types of odontopreparation and changes in the tissues of the teeth, which resulting from orthopedic treatment with complete metal ceramic crowns.
A meeting with leading experts from the USA, countries of South and North Africa, Great Britain and Georgia was dedicated to the introduction of approaches to the treatment of dental and periodontal diseases using innovative methods and to setting up priority directions to the development of modern dentistry.
These new ideas and experiences will be further developed and implemented at the academic and practical spheres of TSMU.
