TNMU started the project “Innovative Rehabilitation Education – Introduction of new master degree programs in Ukraine 2018-2021”

Within the framework of the implementation of the European Union Program Erasmus+ 2018-2021 Innovative Rehabilitation Education – Introduction of new master degree programs in Ukraine 2018-2021 an agreement on cooperation between the I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University and Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw (Akademia Wychowania Fizycznego – AWF) for the period from September 2019 to September 2024 was signed. The contract on behalf of AWF was signed by Rector, Professor Andrzej Mashtalar and on behalf of TNMU by Rector, Professor Mykhaylo Korda.

The agreement provides for the exchange of scientists and teachers, aimed at mutual consultations, lectures, practical training, as well as the implementation of research projects, organization of conferences, symposia and academic seminars with the participation of representatives of both educational institutions; exchange of student groups; exchange of sports groups in Ukrainian-Polish competitions; exchange of information, including joint publications on physical therapy, ergotherapy and rehabilitation.

Within the framework of the Project, in November 2019, Assistant of the Department of Physical Therapy, Ergotherapy and Physical Education A. V. Rutska will have internship in ergotherapy.

 

A brief reference. AWF is an educational institution with more than 90 years of history and classical European educational traditions. The Academy has a faculty of rehabilitation, a faculty of physical education, a faculty of tourism and recreation. Over 4,500 students are enrolled here, with 369 teachers providing training.
