70 patrol officers trained during five days. The classes for each group lasted for more than 3 hours every day.

All participants had the opportunity to develop their skills in first medical aid: basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation, hemostasis (as well as critical, venous, capillary, nodular), the necessary actions and assistance in various injuries, limb fractures, their immobilization, as well as bruises, stab and gunshot wounds). Moreover, the algorithm of actions in an accident (to move the victim properly, the sequence of assistance according to the protocol, cervical collar application) was developed. The participants learned the fundamentals of care for burns, frostbites, hyperthermia.

“The patrol officers will use all the developed practical skills when providing first medical assistance before arrival of an emergency team, because they are already aware of actions according to the protocol that will benefit for providing assistance by emergency service”, Denys Koshak said.
