TNMU Scientists Took Part in the International Summit on Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis and Bioanalytical Methodology

On February 23-24, 2021 the head, post-graduate students and researchers of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry of TNMU took part in the SelectScience Virtual Analytical Summit 2021 (Professor Liliia Lohoida, Assistant Professor Kateryna Peleshok, PhD student Natalia Shuliak, intern, technician of the department research work , laboratory assistant of the department Mariana Horyn), that is evidenced by the certificates of participation. This international event, attended by scientists from around the world, covered the latest research and technologies in analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis and bioanalytical methodology.

SelectScience Virtual Analytical Summit is one of the largest international scientific forums, where lectures are delivered by scientists having significant achievements and accomplishments in analytical chemistry and pharmaceutical analysis. The lectures were exciting and meaningful “Choosing an automated sample prep technique to match your analytes and matrix” (Dr. Diane Turner, Anthias Consulting), “Challenges in analytical characterization of biosimilars” (Prof. Anurag S. Rathore, Indian Institute of Technology), “Extended sensitivity for PK/PD and biomarker analysis using nanoliter-scale immunoassays” (Chris Fox, Applications Scientist, R&D, Gyros Protein Technologies), “The analytical power of Raman imaging – new developments, tools, and applications” (Dr. Miriam Boehmler, Head of the Application and Support Department, WITec GmbH), “HPLC method development made easy: Stability-indicating assays of pharmaceuticals” (Dr. Michael Dong, MWD Consulting), “Physico-alchemy: Optimizing drug formulations through measurements at the microscale” (Dr. Anne Virden, Product Manager for Micro-Materials, Malvern Panalytical, Dr. Debbie Huck-Jones, Malvern Panalytical), “Find, classify and identify microparticles faster with Raman imaging spectroscopy” (Damon Strom, Technical Marketing and Editing, WITec GmbH), “The Orbitrap ID-X: Essential technology for untargeted metabolomics” (Dr. Christopher Petucci, University of Pennsylvania), “Unlocking the secrets of API stability: a physicochemist’s view” (Dr. Natalia Dadivanyan, Malvern Panalytical), “Using vendor agnostic software to get answers from all your data” (Dr. Stuart Berry, Application Scientist, ACD/Labs), “From discovery to targeted analysis of metabolites and lipids” (Dr. Sheher Banu Mohsin, Senior Applications Scientist, Agilent Technologies).

The researchers of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry appreciate the opportunity to improve their scientific level and participate in a highly professional international event provided by the organizers of the SelectScience Virtual Analytical Summit 2021.
