The First Master’s Degree Graduates in the Public Health Specialty at TNMU
This year, the first graduation of master’s degree students in Public Health took place in I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University. The defence of the master’s thesis is the final stage of students training in this specialty, its quality and the results of the defence confirm students’ qualification level.
The defence of master’s theses took place on June 15, 2021. Graduate students presented their research to the public that proved their theoretical knowledge and ability to use it in practice in solving professional problems.
Professor Olena Lototska, the head of the examination commission, welcomed everyone at the beginning of the meeting. Professor Natalia Terenda, the guarantor of the Public Health Educational and Professional Program, presented the masters’ theses.

At the defence of master’s theses the examiners were: Professor Hanna Saturska, Associate Professors Olha Sopel, Natalia Panchyshyn, Konstantyn Pashko, Olha Lytvynova; the academic supervisors of master’s theses also took part in the event.
The examination commission noted the high level of all theses submitted for defence. All speakers demonstrated good skills of analysis and summary the latest research in public health and application it to applied problems.
