TNMU Specialists Provided Medical Advice to the Elderly at Petrykiv Regional Geriatric Boarding House

Stepan Hlushko, the Director of the Petrykiv Regional Geriatric Boarding House, invited the university advisory team to the Petrykiv Regional Geriatric Boarding House, within the framework of the current agreement on cooperation between the university and the boarding house, dated June 16, 2021.

The university medical advisory team comprised: a cardiologist, Professor Nadiia Yarema, the Department of Internal Medicine No.1; a vascular surgeon, Associate Professor Andrii Vaida, the Department of Surgery No.2; a cardiologist, Associate Professor Iryna Savchenko, the Department of Internal Medicine No.1; an obstetrician-gynecologist, Associate Professor Lesia Romanchuk, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology No.1; an orthopaedist-traumatologist, Assistant Professor Yevhen Lymar, the Department of Traumatology, Orthopaedics and Military Surgery; a neurologist, Assistant Professor Maryna Salii, the Department of Neurology; an endocrinologist, PhD student Veronika Kulchynska, the Department of Medicine No.1; Oli Stanovych, the 5th year students, group 25, the Faculty of Medicine.

75 elderly patients were examined and the experts provided them medical advices for further treatment.
