Meeting of the Admissions Committee on Enrolment of Students for a State-Funded Education at TNMU

The original documents for studying at the expense of individuals and legal entities are being submitted to the Admissions Committee of TNMU until August 16; on August 9 a meeting of the committee was held and the first-year students received a recommendation for enrolment.

Professor Mykhaнlo Korda, Rector of the University, the Chairman of the Admissions Committee, at the meeting suggested to enrol for the first year of state-funded study 241 people in the specialty of Medicine (93% recommended), 7 people (100%) – Dentistry, 11 (92%) – Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy, EP Paramedic and Nursing – 70%.

This year, TNMU has submitted 500 more electronic applications – 3,900 compare to 3,400 in 2020. The execution of the state order regarding the maximum amounts was the consequence. the minimum score of the recommended increased significantly as well. In 2020, the minimum score for the state-funded studying for the specialty of Medicine was 154, this year – 175. As of the Dentistry specialty it was 195 in 2020 and 196 today, Physical Therapy, Ergotherapy – 179 and 180, Nursing – 162 and 167, Paramedic – 145 and 166, respectively.

The popularity of our university has significantly increased among the entrants who graduated from colleges or institutes – a total of 479 applications were submitted compare to 240 in 2020.

The Crimea/Donbass-Ukraine Educational Centre also has presented the first results. An entrant from the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, who successfully passed the entrance exams for the specialty of Medicine, has been enrolled for a state-funded education at TNMU.

The Admissions Committee suggests following the website vstup.tdmu.edu.ua; at the end of August the information about the beginning of studies, meeting with deans, dormitory accommodation, the issuance of textbooks and other will be published.
