Associate Professor of TNMU Presented the University Academic Potential in Nigeria

The Days of Ukrainian Education in Nigeria “Study in Ukraine 2021” were held in Abuja on September 20-21, 2021 supported by the Embassy of Ukraine in Nigeria and personally the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Valeryi Kirdoda. The aim of the event was to promote higher and vocational education in Ukraine in the market of educational services of the West African countries. It was also supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine and the Ukrainian State Centre for International Education.

At the event together with USCIE, the representatives from Ukraine were also V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, International University of Human Sciences, Sumy State University, International European University and Odessa State Agrarian University.

On the first day of the event, Bohdan Mykhailovych Soltys, the Second Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in Nigeria and a representative of the Ministry of Education of Nigeria (his daughter, by the way, is studying in Ukraine) welcomed the participants in his speech.

Associate Professor Olena Pokryshko, Deputy Director of the Centre for Educational Work and Cultural Development, represented Ternopil National Medical University. She congratulated everyone on behalf of Professor Mykhaylo Korda, the Rector of TNMU. She presented the achievements of the university in academic, research, international affairs and a high level of support for international students, their initiatives at the university.

Also, during the exhibition an interactive communication with potential entrants and their parents took place.
