Workshop Seminar for TNMU Students
On October 9, 2021 the representatives of the non-governmental organization “Help Motherland International” in Ternopil organized a master class at the Department of Medical Biology of TNMU for students of our university. The topic of the event covered parenteral administration of drugs, surgical hand washing, the ability to wear and take off gloves. It should be noted that this organization in Ternopil joins students of Ternopil Medical University.
Arun Arora (fourth year student), Kainat Khawaja (third year student), Simran Mehra (fourth year student), Mucyo Fides (third year student), Fajimokun Abisola (fourth year student), Devarajulu Mariyappan (third year student), Rubinabanu Pathan (fourth year student) were the organizers.
Each of these students was responsible for a specific work. For example, Arun Arora taught intravenous drug administration, Simran Mehra shared experience and skills of intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal methods of drug administration. Mucyo Fides taught the surgical method of hand washing and wearing sterile gloving-degloving.
In total, by 36 students took part in the seminar. First, everyone listened to the presentations and theoretical information. After that, they moved on to practical training and skills development.
The meeting finished with the assessment of the participants’ developed skill by the teachers of the course. The students received certificates of participation.
