TNMU Received the Third Consignment of Humanitarian Aid from Freie Ukraine Braunschweig e.V. (Germany)
On April 17, 2022, the Volunteer Centre of Ternopil National Medical University received humanitarian aid for the third time from Freie Ukraine Braunschweig e.V. (Germany). The consignment includes crystalloid solutions, antiseptics for wound treatment, antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs, haemostatics of systemic and local action, drugs for the treatment of endocrine diseases and dressings. Some medicines and medical supplies were sent to the Armed Forces of Ukraine the next day.
Association Freiе Ukraine Braunschweig e.V. is a union of Germans and Ukrainians in the Braunschweig region.
The main goals of the association:
- provide humanitarian assistance;
- to promote awareness of political and social events in Ukraine;
- encourage joint meetings, especially among young people from both countries;
- to promote cultural exchange with Ukrainian artists and writers.
The war started by Russia has been going on in Ukraine for eight weeks now. Hundreds of wounded civilians and servicemen are in need of emergency care and inpatient treatment every day. We express our sincere appreciation for the help provided in this difficult time for every Ukrainian.
