Ukrainians from Austria Provide Support to TNMU Volunteer Centre
The Educational Centre for Ukrainian Language and Culture “Ridna Domivka” in Graz (Austria), represented by Halyna Skotnik, sent humanitarian aid to the Volunteer Centre of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University. On May 3, 2022, we received 150 kg of medicines and medical supplies for the needs of our defenders and military hospitals. Ukrainians organize humanitarian aid by raising funds and uniting concerned people. Oleksandr Stakhanskyi provided the logistics for receiving the cargo.

The Educational Centre “Ridna Domivka” is the home of the Ukrainian language and culture in Graz and Styria in general. It is based on communication, learning, supporting and helping each other.

The history of “Ridna Domivka” began in the fall of 2017, when during the celebration of the Intercession in the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, several families took the initiative to meet more often with children to communicate and share experiences. The Ukrainian community in Graz organizes many events that provide an opportunity to better unite and promote Ukrainian culture. The Educational Centку of Ukrainian Language and Culture in Graz “Ridna Domivka” is officially included in the register of organizations of Austria (Vereinsregister) under the name “RIDNA DOMIVKA – Ukrainischer Kulturverein in Graz” (https://ridnadomivka.at/uk/).
