Bandages and Medical Equipment from “United for Ukraine” Organization
On May 25, 2022, the Volunteer Centre of Ternopil National Medical University received a large consignment of medical supplies from Taras Lysyy, a resident of the United States, which are critical for stopping bleeding in the event of injury. The cargo also included equipment for orthopaedic surgeons, including two sets of instruments for limb amputations and sterilization boxes, tools for fixing bones in case of complex injuries and several sets of bone fixators.

Mr. Taras is a graduate of our university and a member of the charity organization “United for Ukraine” (U4U). It is through this association of caring people that we are able to obtain the means which are necessary to save lives of our defenders.
Volunteers of TNMU transfer medical supplies directly to the front for the needs of sanitary and medical units of our troops. The medical equipment will be delivered to the orthopaedic department of the Ternopil Regional Clinical Hospital, where many wounded soldiers are currently being treated.
