TNMU Student Participated in Conference “Health and Education Outcomes of Children across Europe with Congenital Anomalies”
TNMU student Anna-Maria Koval took part in the EUROlinkCAT European Conference 2022 “Health and education outcomes of children across Europe with congenital anomalies”, which took place at Karol Marcinkowski University of Medical Sciences in Poznań (Poland).
The scientific event covered the following topics: epidemiology, prenatal diagnosis, survival and morbidity, health care, schooling and educational outcomes, the experience of parents and guardians, the role of cooperation between patients and parents.



The conference was attended by health professionals, scientists, teachers, leaders in the field of healthcare and education, and students.
Part of the event was a student session, for which 12 papers by students from different countries were selected, including the work of Anna-Maria Koval and Joanna Jasinska (Joanna Jasinska) “Awareness of folic acid and its effects among pregnant women in Western Ukraine”. Scientists and doctors from Great Britain, Croatia and Italy evaluated the works. Three scientific papers were awarded as the best.
The papers by TNMU students were supervised by Ass. Professor of the Department of Paediatrics №2 Kateryna Hlushko.
