TNMU Staff and Students Manufacture External Use Products for the Military Officers

In order to meet one of the urgent needs of our military, teachers and students of the Faculty of Pharmacy of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, together with the Ternopil Regional Communal Interhospital Pharmacy №157, started the production of pastes and powders to preserve foot health.

Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmacy Management, Economics and Technology, Halyna Kozyr, said that all these products are for external use only. She added that this process was preceded by long consultations, study of prescriptions and careful supervision of practical pharmacists from those pharmacies where medicines are manufactured. Thanks to this cooperation, an effective formulation of pastes and powders was developed.

4th and 5th-year students of the Faculty of Pharmacy actively participated in the production of the above-mentioned medicinal products.

The teachers and students of TNMU Faculty of Pharmacy express their appreciation to the director of pharmacy №157, Mariia Harahuts, for the cooperation.
