TNMU Volunteer Centre Received a V.A.C. Device and Other Means to Save the Lives of Military Personnel
Steven Tereshchenko-Schuster is a volunteer in Germany who is concerned about the fate of Ukraine. From the first days of the war, he became a volunteer with the aim of helping Ukrainians in the current war with Russia, for which we are deeply grateful. On July 12, 2022, Stephen Tereshchenko-Schuster brought another consignment of humanitarian aid to the Volunteer Centre of TNMU, including a V.A.C. apparatus, 200 tourniquets, 100 haemostatic sponges, 720 atraumatic scissors, as well as medicines and other medical supplies.

“I am deeply thankful to the Polish partners who joined the public organization “ISPOR Poland Chapter”. They helped with fundraising and the purchase of bandages and other things. I also registered the public organization “Medicines for Ukraine” in Germany, which assists in working more effectively to help Ukraine. I am sincerely grateful to everyone who joins my initiative, helps, gets involved in the work,” said Stephen Tereshchenko-Schuster.
The Volunteer Centre will soon hand over a V.A.C. machine for the needs of a military hospital where wounded defenders are being treated. This medical equipment is exceptionally effective in treating wounds. Individual first-aid kits will be equipped with haemostatic sponges, tourniquets, and tactical scissors.
