TNMU Students Implement the “Warm Winter” Project

Because of the cold winter ahead and the challenging situation in the country, children without parental care particularly need our help. One of the important and urgent problems is warm clothes. That is why the students of Ternopil National Medical University organized and joined the “Warm Winter” project.

The initiator is Alina Zahorivska, who said that “these children are completely dependent on the state, they need both material and moral support. One of the important and urgent problems is warm clothes. We want to protect children from the terrible events of today. For this purpose, we organized an interesting intellectual game “What? Where? When”, where children could have fun and receive delicious prizes. They also set themselves the goal of taking care of the feelings of the children, so that they feel that they are not alone, but can count on society and its support.”

The administration of the Ternopil regional communal orphanage for school-age children expressed their appreciation to TNMU students, and also called on young people to conduct interesting lectures and educational lessons for pupils, because it is extremely important for orphans to feel needed and cared for.

Children were extremely happy to spend time with students and receive gifts. Maksym Fedak, a second-year student, also joined the project.
