TNMU Volunteers Support “My World” Public Organization

Students who are members of TNMU volunteer organization “Misericordia” under the supervision of TNMU Associate Professor Taras Kadobnyi, together with the Deputy Director of the Ternopil Regional Philharmonic, Head of “Zbruch” ensemble Vasyl Irmiichuk, have been continuously helping the public organization “My World” with food products, personal hygiene products and medicines, as well as with health improvement and leisure organization.

The public organization “My World” is an association of people with various developmental disabilities. They are forced to spend most of their time at home under the care of their loved ones.

Therefore, a trip to Kraków (Poland) organized for them has become a lovely and heart-warming surprize. Most of them visited this city for the first time, which brought new emotions and the opportunity to get to know the world a little more.

Also, this year, the representatives of “My World” public organization were able to improve their health at Recreation Centre “Chervona Kalyna”. In addition to recreation, the students of “Misericordia” conducted courses of pre-medical care, lectures on health-related topics, work-shops in art therapy, music therapy and therapeutic massage for all the participants.

The representatives of “My World” public organization expressed their deepest appreciation to the rector of TNMU Mykhaylo Korda and everyone who contributed to the support and organization of rehabilitation at “Chervona Kalyna”.

Cooperation and support of such organizations is essential, especially in difficult times for everyone, not only in the form of humanitarian aid, but also in the form of emotions, communication and learning something new.
