TNMU Unites Ternopil Residents to Provide Our Soldiers with Heat and Light
On October 28, 2022, students of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, Andrii Svirzhevskyi (MM-220), Tamara Nych (MM-220), Ruslana Khrustavka (MM-314), Nazarii Krulyk (MM-373) held a workshop on the production of trench candles for the 8th-grade students of Volodymyr Levytskyi Ternopil Primary School № 16.

Teacher Tetiana Malanchuk helped to organize the event. Previously, the students had already made trench candles, but made mistakes, so the medical students decided to share their experience. Ms. Tetiana supported the initiative of TNMU volunteers, as she also wanted to invite them to visit her.
Our volunteers told the students the general rules for making candles. They demonstrated how to make them correctly. The children were diligent and perfectly coped with the task.

It’s nice that many people from Ternopil, and especially the schoolchildren, join the initiative of TNMU students. Recently, the team of M. Verbytskyi Ternopil Music School № 2 brought for the university volunteers blanks and wax for trench candles. On the same day, our volunteers filled them with wax and the next day they were sent to the frontline in units that defend Ukraine at the zero line. We express our sincere appreciation to the director of the school, Vasyl Koval, for the patriotic team and help in bringing victory closer.
On October 28, 2022, students of I. Franko Ternopil Ukrainian Gymnasium brought a large number of cans and cardboard. We sincerely thank the young people of Ternopil and teacher Oleksandra Hrabovska for a civic-minded position.
Many new drawings were submitted by students of Ternopil primary school № 3 (with a preschool division). Senior groups (5-6 years old) and elementary school students (7-10 years old) put their love into them. We express our appreciation to the school director Olena Shevchuk.
