TNMU Students Supported “1 Million Trees of Life” Campaign

On the eve of Easter, the Honorary Consul of Hungary in Ternopil Tetiana Chubak and at the same time the regional representative of the charitable organization “Greening of Ukraine Charitable Fund” signed with the Rector of Ternopil National Medical University, Professor Mykhaylo Korda, a Memorandum on cooperation in the implementation of the global eco-initiative “Greening of the Planet”.

On April 20, 2023, cherry blossoms, magnolias, hydrangeas and Vichy grapes were planted in the courtyard of the administrative building of TNMU as part of this project. This happened in order to implement the “1 million trees of life” campaign. Students of various years of the Faculty of Medicine actively participated in the event.

Cooperation within the framework of the memorandum involves drawing attention to the problems of ecology, restoring the country’s ecosystem, forming a positive image of Ukraine in the world with the help of the collective success story of Ukrainians.
TNMU expresses its appreciation to the Honorary Consul of Hungary in Ternopil and the regional representative of the charitable organization “Greening of Ukraine Charitable Fund” Tetiana Chubak for the wonderful initiative and for making every effort to make our planet even greener.
