TNMU – Partner of the New Erasmus+ Project “Open4UA”
Over the next three years, Ternopil National Medical University and its partners will implement the Erasmus+ project, “Open Science for Ukrainian Higher Education System” (Open4UA).
This project falls under Strand 3, “Structural Projects to Support Reforms,” in the program “Capacity Building in Higher Education.” Its primary goal is to foster the development of internationalization. In addition to higher education institutions, representatives of government agencies are also involved in the project’s implementation.

“Open4UA” will promote the development of a research-oriented economy in Ukraine for post-war recovery through higher education system reform. This will be achieved by identifying open science priorities at various levels, from national policy to individual researchers.
The project will support reforms in higher education and science in Ukraine based on best practices and the experience of partner universities from EU member countries.
