Representatives of the North America Taiwanese Medical Association Visited TNMU on a Working Visit

On September 5, 2023, with the assistance of the Christian Medical Association of Ukraine, Ternopil National Medical University was attended by a delegation of the North American Taiwanese Medical Association with the aim of establishing cooperation in scientific and educational areas.

During their stay at TNMU, the guests met with the Rector of the University Mykhaylo Korda. It was about the possibility of short-term (20-day) and long-term (3-6 months) professional development trainings for teachers and students of our higher education institution.

Doctors of the Association had the opportunity to see with the educational facilities of Ternopil Medical University, learn about educational and scientific areas. The guests expressed positive impressions about the Simulation Training Centre and laboratories of TNMU.

Representatives of the North American Taiwanese Medical Association are in Ukraine with a humanitarian mission at the invitation of the Christian Medical Association of Ukraine with the aim of establishing close relations with Ukrainian doctors and promoting the development of the medical industry of our country.

The delegation included MD, vascular surgeon Yung-Tsung Tsai, MD, anesthesiologist Simon J. Lin, MD, internal medicine specialist Ming-Rong Harn, MD, dermatologist, Chia-Chun Kao, MD, pulmonologist Wen-Ray Su, MD, surgeon Sam Kwauk, MD, vascular surgeon Pedro Cordero, MD, acupuncturists Rudy Yun Ju Huang and Yung Yuan Chi, MD, cardiac surgeon Lao-Shen Lin, MD, otolaryngologist Wai-Fong Ng, pharmacist Harn Tsai Ai-Chi, medical assistant Grace Harn, journalists Yu-Ping Wen and Chiung-Wei Lu.
