Intern Doctors Gave Lectures to Schoolchildren about the Dangers of Smoking Electronic Cigarettes

On October 19, 2023, interns of the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University Oleh Kuziv and Anastasia Horodynska held educational lessons for students of the Gymnasium No. 6 of the Galician College of Ternopil. The topic – smoking of electronic cigarettes – has become one of the most pressing issues of our time.

Every fall, the whole world celebrates International No Smoking Day (#NoSmokingDay). Its main goal is to contribute to the reduction of tobacco addiction and to inform society as much as possible about the negative and harmful effects of tobacco on health.

During the lessons, the young doctors used didactic and interactive materials and suggested watching a video about chronic diseases caused by smoking electronic cigarettes.
