WHO Specialists Will Train Emergency Health Care Workers
Representatives of the World Health Organization Tracey Clatworthy – MSc Ed; BSc (Hons) and Dr. Georgie Kamaras – MD FRCEM MScPharm on November 23, 2023, met with the Rector of TNMU, Professor Mykhaylo Korda and representatives of the university administration.

They discussed cooperation in the organization of practical trainings for students of Ternopil National Medical University.

It was agreed that in 2024, experienced WHO trainers will conduct the “European Trauma Course” from the European Resuscitation Council, which will cover the provision of care to the trauma victim in the early hospital stage.
The course will last three days and will cover airway patency, abdominal trauma, spinal trauma, chest trauma, craniocerebral trauma, shocks, trauma in children, pregnant women.
