TNMU Students Organized a Tour to the University Morphology Building

On April 30, students of TNMU Faculty of Medicine Nazar Koliasa and Andrii Taras organized a tour of the Morphology Building of TNMU for 10-11th-grade students of Velyka Berezovytsia Lyceum.

The students were able to learn more about the life and functioning of the university, in particular the departments of Human Anatomy, Histology and Embryology, Pathological Anatomy, Forensic Medicine and Autopsy Course.

At the Department of Human Anatomy, schoolchildren had the opportunity to listen to an interesting lecture by Ihor Boimystruk, Associate Professor of the Department, about the history of the development of anatomy and its basic principles with a visual demonstration of preparations.

At the Department of Histology and Embryology, students of Velyka Berezovytsia Lyceum learned how to work with a microscope and studied micro-preparations under the guidance of the Assistant Professor of the Department Nataliia Ohinska.

At the Department of Pathological Anatomy, Forensic Medicine and Autopsy Course students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the appearance of the main human pathologies directly from the event organizers.

The students were active, asked many questions, were interested in the learning process and expressed a desire to apply to the university.

Also, as part of the event, a collection of funds was held (840 hryvnias were collected) for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
