Vyshyvanka Day was Celebrated at TNMU

Vyshyvanka Day has become a traditional and long-awaited holiday for Ukrainians. On the occasion of this holiday, on May 16, 2024, an event was held at Ternopil National Medical University as part of the National Warm-Up in Vyshyvanka “We Thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine”. The main goal of this event is to unite Ukrainians and the international community around the world in their support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the indomitable Ukrainian people, and to increase the level of physical activity.

Teachers, staff and students of TNMU gathered in the courtyard of the main building of TNMU to pay tribute to our defenders and support Ukrainian traditions.

The event began with a moment of silence and the performance of the national anthem. After that, the Vice-Rector for Research, Professor Ivan Klishch addressed all the attendees emphasizing the importance of embroidery for the Ukrainian nation.

The Head of TNMU Centre for Educational and Cultural Development, Marta Rudenko, invited everyone to the Warm-Up. TNMU students Liubov Stepasiuk (MM-104), Daria Pasichnyk (MM-104), Kateryna Petrenko (MM-109), Sofia Andrukhiv (FF-101) showed dance movements. The participants took part in the Warm-Up with joy and pride.
