TNMU Mental Health Centre Staff Participated in the Tourism Forum

On May 10, 2024, the Ternopil Region hosted the tourism forum “Terno Tourism 2024. Domestic tourism as a means of emotional recovery: rest, rehabilitation, inclusion and barrier-free zone”. It was attended by specialists of TNMU Mental Health Centre and the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology Olena Venger, Olha Liuta and Yulia Venger.

The purpose of the forum was to create a platform for the exchange of best practices, initiatives and ideas regarding the development of the tourism industry in the war and post-war periods, socialization and adaptation of the tourism space of the region to new realities, in particular for persons with disabilities.

During the course, the Head of TNMU Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology, Professor Olena Venger presented the report “Peculiarities of the work of the Mental Health Centre during the war” to the audience.

The presentation aroused the interest of the audience. After the meeting, the organizers proposed further cooperation with the Mental Health Centre.
