DEAR COLLEAGUES!

The organizing committee of the scientific and practical conference with international participation in “Medical and non-medicinal possibilities of patient management in general medical practice,” within the framework of which a forum of young scientists will be held in the specialty “General practice-family medicine” on the topic “Scientific innovations – in the practice of a family doctor,” has the honor to invite you to participate in the work/ 

SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM  October 24-25, 2024:

1. Protocol standards and adjuvant possibilities in personalized management of patients in outpatient practice.
2. Current competencies in the practice of a general practitioner-family doctor.
3. Convenient and effective formats of continuous professional development for a practicing physician
4. Current issues of the work of family doctors and nurses in crises (particularly in conditions of war and the COVID-19 pandemic).
5. Modern approaches to diagnosing and treating the most common diseases of internal organs in the practice of a family doctor in times of uncertainty.
6. Presentation of the textbook “General practice-family medicine”, volume 1 “Organization of primary medical care”.
7. Forum of young scientists in the specialty “General practice-family medicine” on “Scientific innovations – in the practice of a family doctor.”

Form of participation: oral presentation, poster presentation, free listener

The conference materials will be published in the professional journal “Achievements in Clinical and Experimental Medicine.”

SUBMISSION OF ARTICLES TO THE JOURNAL:

You need to register as a reader and author (check the box) under the selected journal and submit an article (upload an article) there.

A payment receipt will be sent to the e-mail box after acceptance of material for printing.

TERMS OF PUBLICATION:

1. Articles, reviews of the literature, and clinical cases prepared by the requirements of the journal “Achievements of Clinical and Experimental Medicine” are accepted. Below the text of the article should be information about the authors: place of work, position, scientific degree, academic title, surname, first name, patronymic, address, telephone, and e-mail. Authors’ addresses.
2. Detailed requirements for writing articles can be found at the link on the official page of the journal 
3. The volume of the original article, including tables, figures, a list of references, and a summary, should be at least five pages. The volume of a problem article, literature review, lecture – up to 12 pages, a short article in the headings “View of the problem” and “Case from practice” – up to 5 p., including a summary and a list of references.
4. The article can be printed in Ukrainian and English on one side of an A4 sheet with 1800-2000 printed characters on the page (margins: top and bottom – 2.5 cm, left—3 cm, right—1.5 cm, Times New Roman 14 pt in one-and-a-half intervals).

Tables should have short titles and their numbering. Reproduction of the same material in tables and figures is not allowed. Charts and graphs should preferably be created in Microsoft Excel. Small illustrations can be placed along the text of the article.

For formulas, it is preferable to use the Microsoft Equation formula editor.

5. Articles must be written in compliance with the essential requirements of DSTU 3008-95 “Documentation. Reports in the field of science and technology. Structure and design rules.” according to the following scheme:

UDC: from the TITLE OF THE WORK paragraph (in capital letters), the authors’ initials and surnames, and the institution’s full name (in three languages).

Summaries in Ukrainian and English (250–300 words each) should be structured and contain the work’s title, purpose, materials and methods, research results, and conclusions.

Keywords in Ukrainian and English (up to 8 words).

Introduction. (Statement of the problem in a general form, its connection with important scientific or practical tasks, analysis of the latest published studies, in which the solution of this problem was initiated, selection of the unsolved part of the general problem, to which the specified work is devoted).

The purpose of the study.

Research material and methods. (Explanation of the object of research and methods, the description of which should be sufficient for understanding their expediency and the possibility of reproduction. In the case of experiments, the species, sex, number of animals, methods of anesthesia during manipulation of animals for pain relief, and euthanasia method should be indicated. It is mandatory to indicate methods of statistics with substantiation of criteria for the reliability of assessments).

Results and discussion. (The primary factual material is presented, a complete justification of the obtained scientific results is carried out, an expression of one’s judgment regarding the obtained results, its comparison with the interpretation of similar data given by other authors).

Conclusions. Prospects for further research.

The list of used literature (printed in the order of citing sources) is formed by two blocks: traditional and additional for foreign databases (REFERENCES).

Materials are accepted until 10/20/24 into the system OPEN JOURNAL SYSTEMS

The editors determine the cost of publication according to the article’s length, approximately UAH 140 for 1,800 characters (1 page), taking into account the DOI assignment.
