Meeting with the Distance Learning Program Students at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Nursing

On September 13, 2024, the Educational and Scientific Institute of Nursing staff at TNMU organized a meeting with students enrolled in the distance learning program for the “Nursing” specialty. The students were welcomed by the Director of the Institute of Nursing, Svitlana Danchak; her deputy, Lyudmyla Mazur; Assistant Professor of the Higher Nursing Education, Patient Care, and Clinical Immunology Department, Yuliia Kotsaba; and faculty inspector, Olha Hunchak.

The meeting began with a welcoming speech from Svitlana Danchak, who introduced the institute’s educational, scientific, and extracurricular activities and international cooperation. She also discussed the bachelor’s and master’s level academic programs in nursing and the educational and scientific programs for the “Nursing” specialty. Master’s students received clarification on the research process and the preparation and public defense of their theses.

Lyudmyla Mazur focused her presentation on the learning process using the Moodle educational platform. She demonstrated the security of student accounts through the use of individual logins and passwords, as well as the creation of dedicated educational email accounts. She also highlighted the evaluation methodology for assessing the understanding of lecture materials and the practical lessons. The importance of continuous communication between participants in the educational process was emphasized.

Yuliia Kotsaba spoke about the methodology for organizing and the specific requirements for completing internships for students in the distance learning program.

At the end of the meeting, students could ask all the questions they were interested in.
