TNMU Received an Award in the Nomination “Innovation “How are you?” in Health Care

On World Mental Health Day, celebrated every year on October 10, West Ukrainian National University hosted a communication platform, “Resistance of One – Resilience of Millions.” Tetyana Husieva, Associate Professor of the Psychiatry, Narcology, and Medical Psychology Department of TNMU, participated in it.

The event was attended by Viktor Ustenko, Deputy Head of the Ternopil Regional State Administration, directors of Administration departments, heads of communities, scientists, and specialists of the psychological services of higher education institutions, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Viktor Ustenko spoke about the implementation of the All-Ukrainian mental health program “How are you?” in Ternopil region, noting that the All-Ukrainian mental health program was aimed at building a quality system of providing services in psychosocial support and developing a culture of mental health care.

Viktor Ustenko and the regional coordinator of the All-Ukrainian mental health program “How are you?” Lesya Kosovska, awarded the best specialists and organizations in health care, social protection, education, defense and veteran policy, law and order, culture, youth, and sports, who significantly contributed to implementing the program in Ternopil region.

I.Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University received an award in the nomination “Innovation “How are you?” in health care.

During this event, the participants presented their achievements and shared their experiences. They also discussed the plan of measures for 2024-2026 to implement the Concept of Mental Health Care Development in Ukraine.
