The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine plans to open a prosthetics and rehabilitation center soon and is interested in implementing Austrian technology at its facility.
TNMU representatives provided detailed insights into the capabilities of their simulation training center, including:
- Specialized training for teachers of MIA-affiliated educational institutions to standardize first-aid training for university students.
- Organizing thematic training cycles for medical personnel and members of mobile medical teams within the MIA structure, covering various aspects of emergency medical care.
There was also interest in sharing experiences related to the work of the mental health center, as TNMU has successfully operated such a center. Since the MIA plans to open its mental health center, TNMU specialists can offer assistance and share best practices.
Additionally, TNMU representatives spoke about the successful operation of the Center of Excellence based at the Rehabilitation Department of the Ternopil Regional Clinical Psychoneurological Hospital. This center has become a hub for advanced rehabilitation methodologies and a training base for many specialists in multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams.
