Professor of TNMU is in the Top 2% of the World’s Most Cited Scientists
Professor Oksana Boyarchuk has once again made it into the “Top 2%” of the most cited scientists in the field of “Pediatrics. Immunology” based on the analysis of her publications from 2017 to 2024. This confirms her status as the most influential scientist in this field in 2024.
Stanford University researchers and analysts from Elsevier and SciTech Strategies compile the annual ranking of scientists by the citation level of their works.
The ranking is based on an analysis of nearly 7 million scientist profiles in the bibliometric database Scopus. From this, more than 200,000 of the most cited scientists, divided into over 175 fields, were ranked according to selected citation criteria (total number of citations, h-index, number of citations considering co-authors, and the author’s position in the list of co-authors, etc.). Citation frequency is an indicator that demonstrates how noticeable and relevant a researcher’s work is to other experts in their field.

Overall, more than 100 scientists from Ukraine made it into the ranking.
Congratulations to TNMU Professor Oksana Boyarchuk on her outstanding achievements!
