TNMU Signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Nursing and Midwifery Faculty of Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

On October 24, 2024, to establish closer collaboration, TNMU welcomed the Executive Dean of the Nursing and Midwifery Faculty, Prof. Mark White, and the Director of the Nursing Development Center of Ukraine’s Ministry of Health, Associate Prof. Kateryna Komar.

The guests discussed critical areas for future collaboration and shared their best practices. TNMU Rector Prof. Mykhaylo Korda highlighted the university’s recent achievements and advancements in nursing education.

Following these discussions, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, the Nursing Development Center of Ukraine’s Ministry of Health, and TNMU.

The tripartite partnership will focus on developing joint educational initiatives and professional development programs, collaborating on targeted research, and co-developing research projects, with joint participation in grant and funding applications.

The Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery is Ireland’s oldest higher education institution for nurses and midwives. It organizes one of the most prominent international research conferences and offers a prestigious fellowship. Its mission is to foster lifelong professional development for nurses and midwives to meet societal needs in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment.
