Students of Polupanivka Gymnasium Visited TNMU Museums

On October 30, 2024, 8th-grade students of Polupanivka Gymnasium of Skalat City Council and their teacher, Nadiia Humeniuk, visited the Biology and Anatomy Museums of Ternopil National Medical University.

Associate Professor of the Medical Biology Department, Iryna Pryvrotska, introduced the academic subjects taught at the department and led an engaging tour of the lecture rooms and museum. She shared stories about the museum’s founder, educator, scientist, and researcher, Ivan Yaremenko, and the museum’s history and exhibits.

Yurii Havryshchuk conducted a tour of the Anatomy Museum for the students. The Human Anatomy Museum was established in 1959 by Professor M. Polyankin. Initially, it housed a small number of exhibits primarily for educational purposes. Over time, the collection expanded, transforming it into a museum exhibit. Today, the museum holds over 500 items and is considered one of the best in Ukraine.
