The Institute of Nursing at Ternopil National Medical University Organized a series of Events as Part of National Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Week.

As part of National Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Week, observed from November 4 to 10 and dedicated to the importance of this emergency procedure in preserving brain function, students of the Institute of Nursing at Ternopil National Medical University participated in activities aimed at honing their emergency care skills. Workshops and training sessions took place from November 5 to 12, 2024, bringing together more than 60 students enrolled in the “Paramedic” and “Nursing” programs.

The participants concentrated on essential aspects of CPR, such as artificial lung ventilation, chest compressions, airway management, and monitoring vital signs. The sessions were held in specialized training rooms equipped with advanced manikins and medical devices, providing realistic conditions for practice.

This week was an excellent example of effective teamwork and professional peer learning. Students enhanced their professional skills and developed collaboration, support, and knowledge-sharing abilities, which are critical in the medical community.

Through such interactive training, our students elevate their expertise, preparing them to become internationally recognized professionals capable of delivering comprehensive first aid in critical situations.
