TNMU Students Conducted a Lesson on “The Impact of Sleep on the Health and Learning of Schoolchildren”
On November 14, 2024, students from group MM-202, Khrystyna Zhukovska and Vita Pyskir, with the support of their mentor, Associate Professor of the Department of Human Anatomy Anton Hantimurov, organized an interactive lesson for schoolchildren of Nazariy Yaremchuk Ternopil School-Lyceum No. 6. The topic of the lesson was “The Impact of Sleep on the Health and Learning of Schoolchildren.”

The students highlighted the importance of sleep and its influence on academic performance, well-being, development, and mood. They also shared exciting facts related to sleep.

Throughout the lesson, Khrystyna Zhukovska and Vita Pyskir engaged the schoolchildren through exciting interactive games.

In the game “Sleepy Dictionary,” the students explained sleep-related terms using associations.
The game “Nightmare or Dream?” was a favorite among the participants, allowing them to share their funniest and scariest dreams.

To conclude the session, the students solved a crossword puzzle to reinforce the material covered.

The “The Impact of Sleep on the Health and Learning of Schoolchildren” lesson was highly engaging and enjoyable. All participants enthusiastically participated in discussions and games, received valuable tips, and had a great time together.
