How to Start Volunteering Here and Now: Lecture “Volunteer. You Energy”

A meeting between first-year students, senior students, and faculty involved in volunteer activities occurred in the administrative building of Ternopil National Medical University.

The event was organized by medical faculty students Sofiia Berehuliak and Mariia Solomakhina (MM-413) with the student volunteer community MedAid Volunteers Team (MAVT). The lecture was dedicated to promoting, expanding, and activating volunteer activities within the university. To achieve this goal, the organizers prepared a lecture presentation Volunteer. You Energy!”—a guide and roadmap for aspiring volunteers.

The event was attended by:

  • Marta Rudenko, Head of the Center for Educational Work and Cultural Development, Associate Professor
  • Ivanna Kernychna, Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmacognosy with Medical Botany
  • Andrii Dovbush, Associate Professor of the Department of Histology and Embryology and Head of the “Victory Headquarters” Charity Foundation
  • Tetiana Kucher, Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

The speakers shared insights into the establishment and activities of the volunteer movement at TNMU, recounting their personal experiences and offering motivational calls to action. The initiative emphasized the importance of volunteering, especially in the current challenging times.
